On Wednesday of January 10th, Weston Ranch Cougars’ wrestling team faced off against Linden, Stagg, and McNair high school. When asked how the matches went, varsity player Jason Chavez (11) states, “The matches were alright, but we could have done better. Weston Ranch didn’t do as good as we wanted it to.”
When it came to the question on what they could have done differently or what they could have done to do better, Chavez says that the key would have been to set up the mats more efficiently, therefore making it sturdier, as well as being more prepared for the upcoming match.
