Mrs. Dickman-Gonzalez has worked in several different schools over the course of her educational career. She has taught all grades from 6th to 12th, and has experience teaching both special and regular classes. Prior to finishing her credential, she worked as a long-term substitute teacher in Manteca USD.
Her passion for teaching is evident in her diverse background. Before becoming an educator, she worked in Human Resources and investigations in the financial industry. She describes this as her most fun job.
Mrs. Dickman-Gonzalez has been working in the Stockton community for a very long time, ever since she moved to California. Her first job was at Lady Foot Locker in the mall, and since then she has been working in Stockton forever. She was thrilled to be able to stay in the same zip code where she had been teaching for so long. She enjoys the sense of community where everyone knows each other, which is how she grew up.
Currently, Mrs. Dickman-Gonzalez is working on building the journalism program and yearbook at her school. She is also working on getting her admin credential so that she can better help kids through learning.
