With their infectious enthusiasm, dazzling smiles, and spirited routines, they bring unparalleled energy to any school event they grace. Through their spirited performances and interactions, the Weston Ranch Cheerleaders create a sense of companionship that brings people together, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. They pump up the crowd at Rallies, Football, and Basketball games. They also bring up the spirit with their amazing sideline cheers with their OG cheers like Cougar Nation, Beat the Mascot, Go, Fight Win, Cougar’s territory, etc.
They had announced the cheer captains at an away game against Bear Creek and the Head Captain is Milia and the Co-Captain is Imani. All the cheerleaders work hard to perfect their routines and showcase their skills. There were also tryouts for basketball cheer, so there will be new cheerleaders coming out for basketball season.
“How are cheer practices and what are you all hoping to improve?” The head captain’s response was “Cheer practices have been going well, there is still a lot of room for improvement. I’m hoping for the team to improve in our stunting technique, teamwork, and the student part of being a student athlete because even though we are athletes being a student comes first!” One of the WRHS cheerleaders talked about how football season is going and said “So far the season is going well, I do think that we can better as a whole. As in having our cheers down packed! So, when we’re at games we can have more fun instead of being focused on getting the movements right.” So come out to any football game to watch the cheerleaders do sideline cheers and perform their spirited routines.
