WRHS Girls Tennis was on the road for their game against Franklin High School, winning 9-0 overall. Franklin Girls Tennis did not have enough players to make a full roster, forfeiting four games before starting the match. Harvir Hothi, Leeandrea Bell, Megan Lindbloom, Alana Seddiqi, and Magdalena Jose all played their matches and came out victorious. Leeandrea Bell, who played number 3 singles, talked about her match saying, “I won 6-0 and 6-0. It was a pretty easy match, and my serves were hard and going in. There was a point in time where we reached a deuce, so it was 40-40, and we were going for about a minute rallying back and forth. However, I was able to overcome that challenge and won. It was pretty exciting; my opponent was super nice too.”. The WRHS Girls Tennis Team will be playing at home today, 9/19, against Linden and will be away at Edison on 9/21. Make sure to go out and support, go cougars!
