This year’s powderpuff game took place last Wednesday, September 14. The pre-game atmosphere was exciting, with both teams anxiously waiting to play. After only one week of preparation, they still managed to step onto the field with high energy and some team chemistry.
Even with the clock running nonstop throughout the game, the class of ’25 was able to score 3 touchdowns. The class of ’24 scored 1 touchdown, unfortunately falling short of the win. Senior, Akira-Faith T-S stated after the game, “Even though we lost, it was a fun game and good experience.”
This is now the 8th annual powderpuff win for the junior coach, Mr. Hegyi. His coaching style is evidently effective, and he enjoys keeping ownership of the trophy. It was an interesting night overall, and the class of ’25 is looking forward to returning to powderpuff next year to face off against the class of ’26.
