Weston Ranch girls and boys basketball will play Gregori High School of Modesto tonight at Weston Ranch. Both games are Varsity-only contests and part of the CIF’s Peter J. Saco Foundation Games, with all proceeds going towards the A. Dale Lacky Scholarship and Women in Sports Conference.

While neither game counts for the overall record, both programs still have plenty at stake. Both teams have struggled out of the gate, and a win for both tonight could help jumpstart both teams, who face ferocious competition during December.

The Lady Cougars (0-2) will look to make Gregori their first season win when they tip off at 6 pm. Weston Ranch lost 74-41 to Christian Brothers High School and fell to Calaveras High School 57-42.

The boys (0-2) will also take the floor looking for their first win of the season against Gregori. The Cougars lost to Inderkum 94-66 and dropped last Saturday’s game against Riordan 74-67. Weston Ranch beat Gregori 84-72 in last year’s Foundation Game at Gregori.

The girls will begin play tonight at 6 pm. The boys follow at 8 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for kids.
