BOYS VOLLEYBALL: Cougars Soar Past Eagles; VOL Up Next

Boys volleyball defeated McNair High School, 3-1, March 22 at Weston Ranch. The win was their fourth in a row, and it was the final tune-up before the Cougars head into Valley Oak League play.

Weston Ranch won game one 25-20, dropped the second game 25-23, and then won game three 25-21 and game four 25-18.

Eleazar Nava led the Cougars offensively with 15 assists, and Sammy Seng added eight.

Defensively, it was a collective team effort for Weston Ranch. Abraham Palacios and Elijah Mobley led the Cougars with seven kills apiece. Elliot Mobley contributed five kills, and Marcos Arriaza added three more. Tommy Duong had six digs. Arriaza led the Cougars at the net with three blocks.

The Cougars will play Central Catholic on March 28 at Weston Ranch. The first serve is scheduled for 6 pm.
