The Weston Ranch girls’ volleyball team took on Linden High in an upset on senior night. The Lady Cougars entered this matchup 11-14 while the Linden Lions entered at a 14-12 record. This night was the last home game and was for the seniors to celebrate them.
The Lady Cougars squad consists of 4 seniors. They have Anabelle Mayorca who is a 2-year varsity player as well as team captain. Then alongside Anabelle they have senior Yaritza Jimenez who is a 2-year varsity player, senior Ashley Escobar who is a 2-year varsity player, and Jade Ramos who is also a 2-year volleyball player.
This last Cougars matchup wraps up the 2023 volleyball season for the Lady Cougars.
