Omar Centeno is a teacher and a coach who has returned to his alma mater, Weston Ranch High School, in California. He teaches RSP, which stands for Resource Specialist Program, a special education service that provides individualized instruction and support for students with learning disabilities. He also coaches the JV boys soccer team, sharing his passion and skills for the sport.
Centeno has a background in elementary education, having taught fifth grade at August Knodt Elementary School last year. He enjoys working with young learners and helping them grow academically and socially. He says he loves his new role at Weston Ranch because he gets to come back to the school where he graduated from, and he feels at home there. He is excited about this year and the opportunities it brings for him and his students.
