The Weston Ranch girls’ volleyball team had a wonderful game on September 5th, going up against the opposing team McNair.
McNair brought some competition and great plays to the court, with the scores going back to back.
Weston Ranch’s Coach, James Short, stated, “the opposing team is actually really good, they are very scrappy.”
Both teams came prepared, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. The Lady Cougars came out strong and put their all into this game.
As much effort as the Lady Cougars gave, they unfortunately fell short.
Freshman Lady Cougars stated, “going into the next game, we should communicate more, not get into our heads, keep the energy on the court, and have fun.”
They also stated, “we are looking forward to fixing our mistakes we made this game.”
This loss will not set back our Lady Cougars, they will come back stronger and better the next time they are out in the court.
