CLUB SPOTLIGHT: FFA

This week’s class spotlight is on the FFA club.

Weston Ranch High School FFA continues to be the model organization on our campus. FFA is the premier youth organization preparing members for leadership and careers in agriculture’s science, business, and technology (ffa.org). This club is excellent for students interested in building things who want to learn about agriculture. Ms. Gutierrez is the FFA club adviser, and Angel Ismerio is the club president.

To join the FFA club, you must enroll in an AG class, apply for membership with either Ms. Gutierres or Mr. Celeste, and ask to join.

Member Angel Gomez said, “There are many benefits and opportunities that come with being part of the FFA and the different AG classes from learning to weld, building things, making floral arrangements, taking care of animals, etc. There are also many opportunities to earn money in this club.”

The possibilities are abundant in the FFA club. For many students, the FFA Club teaches valuable life skills, but mostly everything they do centers around having fun and being interactive.
