be.Vital has Impressive Showing in ALCs

On Feb. 13th, the annual HOSA Area Leadership Conference went down at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. Roughly seven high schools from the surrounding area gathered to compete against each other in leadership and medical oriented events. Approximately 50 students from WRHS’s be.Vital program participated in the event, with many of them beating out other high school’s competitors by placing in the top 3 in their activity. 

The following Cougars earned their rank by displaying their knowledge and skill;

Sarisha Jacobs: Extemporaneous Writing, 1st Place; Medical Terminology, 2nd Place

Solei Maire-Salcedo: Sports Med, 3rd Place

Parnit Cheema: Extemporaneous Writing, 3rd Place

HOSA Bowl: 2nd Place; Angelee Rivera, Edria Jabil, Brittany Vang, Boluwatife Laseinde
