Trunk or Treat a Sweet Success

Weston Ranch students and staff spent this past Wednesday hosting Trunk or Treat, our 10th annual event where the community came to
our school dressed in costume, collected candy, and played games.
Clubs and classes spent the early evening hanging out in the staff parking lot, which served as the primary hub for several events co-occurring. In addition to Trunk or Treat, the drama department-sponsored their haunted house, and the choir sponsored two escape rooms.

Trunk or Treat was a sweet success. Many people came to get some candy and purchase other treats offered by various clubs. Those in attendance also got to play games and have fun hanging out. It was estimated 25 pounds of candy was exhausted in about two hours!

“We had a great turnout for Trunk or Treat!” said Leadership Adviser, Ms. Lewis. “The club participation was awesome, and all of the students did a great job.” She went on to add, “I loved seeing how many children from the community come out with their families.”

Trunk or Treat promised to be great, and it was another spectacular day for Weston Ranch.
