This week teacher spotlight is on Ms. Mendoza. Ms. Mendoza is a fantastic teacher, and she has been working as a teacher here at WRHS for 12 years. Her current assignment finds her teaching AP biology, and she is also the adviser for the Key Club. Key club is an international high school club and is the only Key Club in our school district.
“Our main focus is to do community service and develop student leaders,” Mendoza said explaining the goals of Key Club. “We have a campus clean up every Thursday and help at local community events sponsored by Kiwanis of Stockton.”
Mendoza told The Prowl anyone could join and all are welcome at meetings. So, if you are interested in being a club member, join current members as they meet every Wednesday during lunch in room 201.
Ms. Mendoza told The Prowl she enjoys working with students here at Weston Ranch and loves what she teaches. The Prowl wishes to thank Ms. Mendoza for spending time with us, and we encourage all students to check out her AP Biology class and look into joining the Key Club.
