Students, do you know Jennalyn Laminero? Jennalyn is a senior this year and is another one of our bright stars on the campus. Jennalyn will be returning for her fourth year in the Cougar basketball program and her third year on the varsity. Not only is Laminero a great athlete, but she also excels in the classroom. She has an overall GPA of 3.64. Although she isn’t sure where she will go next year to continue her schooling, Jennalyn hopes to use her academic and basketball skills to help her secure a spot somewhere. In addition to her classroom and athletic achievements, Laminero is also a member of the Link Crew and can be seen tonight at halftime as she is one of the homecoming princesses for the Senior class.

In a new feature this year, The Prowl invited Laminero to play “11 Questions”. Here we go…
The Prowl: What is your favorite school lunch?
Laminero: The spicy chicken sandwich.
The Prowl: What’s your most embarrassing in-school memory?
Laminero: During PE, we hit Mr. Bauer with the ball, and we all had to run for doing that.
The Prowl: If you could have the pep band play any song at the football games, what would it be?
Laminero: “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green
The Prowl: What has been your most memorable moment playing sports?
Laminero: Playing Sierra in our last basketball last year. It was exciting because there were so many people at the game.
The Prowl: What would you be SO embarrassed to be seen wearing (but secretly love)?
Laminero: I would not be embarrassed to wear any of my clothes. I’m proud of what I wear.
The Prowl: Which professional sports team are you most excited about this year?
Laminero: I’m excited to see the L.A. Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans play this year.
The Prowl: If you were in charge of planning a concert for the school, which three artists would you bring?
Laminero: Rhianna, NBA Youngboy, and Jacquees
The Prowl: What’s your favorite Snapchat filter?
Laminero: I don’t use Snap Filters.
The Prowl: If you could only use one emoji for the rest of high school, which would you choose?
Laminero: I use the dead school emoji because I’m always laughing at everything.

Laminero: unpredictable, scary, and fun
The Prowl: What are your plans after high school?
Laminero: I’m not sure yet, but I want to go to college and play basketball.
