In a brief morning ceremony, WRHS honored its Students of the Month for August in the library. Each month, Weston Ranch celebrates some of our students who excel in academics and citizenship. Teachers are asked to nominate one student who best exemplifies the chosen focus word. This month, the students honored were our best examples of “Open-minded,” and these students were the best at displaying traits demonstrating a willingness to consider new ideas. The Students of the Month for August are Dayanara Arias, Tayana Malapit, Alicia Pires, Katelynn Le, Jacob Navarette, Isaiah Maxie, Kaili Hoyt, Lae’zae Smith, Joshua Ordner, Alexa Diaz, Nataly Almeda, and Jennalyn Laminero.
Weston Ranch High School’s enrollment is 1200 students strong, and each department recognized these students as students who deserved our appreciation for their efforts.
“This is a big deal,” Mr. Fast told the students as they received their awards. “We want you to know you are noticed for your contributions.”
Great things are going here at Weston Ranch.
