Mr. Hegyi is a fantastic teacher who is at our school! He teaches the subject Astronomy in room number 205. He has been teaching for 18 years. He began his teaching career in Europe, where he was mostly taught physics.
Hegyi enjoys teaching and hopes that some students consider a career as an educator. It’s a tough profession, but a job where connections with students make all the difference.
“For students who want to be a teacher, they need to have great interactions with the class and take it seriously because you are responsible for the next generation,” Hegyi said. “I like the conversations with students, and I love to see students succeed.”
Hegyi grew up in Hungary. The first time he visited the United States was in 2006. He officially moved out here in 2012 because of his wife, and they moved to Modesto. Mr. Hegyi has two kids. His daughter is 5, and his son is 22 months.
