Our boys soccer team posted their first victory of the new season, besting Franklin High School 3-1. Robert Gonzalez pushed the Cougars ahead for good with a free kick goal in the second half. Izaac Cruz, set up by Jesus Vargas, added the final goal and padded the cushion. Elmer Figueroa had the Cougars’ lone goal in the opening half.
