On Sept. 15, nine schools competed in the 15th Annual JROTC Raider Challenge and Sports Invitational at Weston Ranch HS, Stockton, CA. WRHS, East Union, Lathrop, Edison, Franklin, Lincoln, Turlock, Seaside and Discovery Challenge Academy (Sharpe Army Depot, Lathrop) participated in the following sports: basketball, volleyball, flag football, basketball, volleyball, raider challenge (pushups, planks, side straddle hops, 1.3 mile run, obstacle course, and swim relay), games/dodgeball, tug-o-war, and one mile relay race.

Fresno State University Army ROTC cadets and Allysa Phann/Jarien Falcon supported the events as referees and judges. Congratulations to East Union Army JROTC cadets for winning the overall championship trophy, fifth in a row!

WRHS Cadets Places:
1st – Dodgeball/Games (golf tee, golf putt, washer toss, the water balloon toss)
2nd – Flag football, volleyball, tug-o-war
3rd – Raider Challenge (pushups, planks, side straddle hops, 1.3 mile run, obstacle course, and swim relay.
