As we step closer to graduation, Weston Ranch High School prepares to say “Goodbye” to our seniors.

But before their academic year ends, The Prowl decided to check-in with some members of the Class of 2018 as 2017 becomes history.

We asked. They answered.

 

Timothy Doung

Q: What are your post-grad plans?

A: “I plan to attend the United States Military Academy.”

 

Q: What has been your motivation during senior year?

A: “My friends. Oh, and definitely the Cross-Country team. Shout out to them!”

 

Q: Do you have any resolutions for new year?

A: “Becoming a stronger swimmer, for sure”

 

Q: How do you feel about graduation?

A: “Optimistic.”

 

Q: What has been your most memorable moment at Weston Ranch?

A: “Going to Washington DC for the Semper Fidelis All-American Program. Going to Mammoth. Pasta parties with the Cross-Country team. Going to the National Drill Competition in Kentucky.”

 

Jianna Ico

Q: What are your post-grad plans?

A: “Going to college or entering a nursing program.”

 

Q: What has been your motivation during senior year?

A: “My family. And just knowing that it’s my last year in this town [sic] and the people.”

 

Q: Do you have any resolutions for new year?

A: “Eat healthier and stop procrastinating.”

 

Q: How do you feel about graduation?

A: “Scared, but happy because the four years of high school paid off.”

 

Q: What has been your most memorable moment at Weston Ranch?

A: “Winning Winter Fest in my first year of my high school career. Passing my AP classes, they were a challenge.

“Going to Santa Cruz with my friends: Luis Hernandez, Jenna Fernandez, lan Hernandez and Constance Castro.”

 

Angela Ton

Q: What are your post-grad plans?

A: “A four-year college, I am thinking University of the Pacific, it’s close to home.”

Q: What has been your motivation during senior year?

A: “My classes and just trying to finish all my work.”

 

Q: Do you have any resolutions for new year?

A; “Stop overthinking and get accepted to UoP. Start being more positive and stay humble till the end.”

 

Q: How do you feel about graduation?

A: “I just can’t believe it’s coming so soon, I am anxious but happy for the next challenge in life at the same time.”

 

Q: What has been your most memorable moment at Weston Ranch?

A: “Being in band and orchestra.”

 

James Luna

Q: What are your post-grad plans?

A: “Community college here or in San Francisco.”

 

Q: What has been your motivation during senior year?

A: “My girlfriend, Jenny Watan, who is also graduating the same year as me. My friends as well.”

 

Q: Do you have any resolutions for new year?

A: “To be a productive student.”

 

Q: How do you feel about graduation?

A: “I’m looking forward to it. Happy, actually.”

 

Q: What has been your most memorable moment at Weston Ranch?

A: “I have memories here like performing in the talent show during my junior year with my girlfriend Jenny, and the jazz band dinner [where] I played the base.

“I also won this year’s talent show. I performed as a band with two of my friends, Michael and Chava. I’ve made some good memories here.”

 

Cori Floyd

Q: What are your post-grad plans?

A: “Going to MJC (Modesto Junior College) and play football.”

 

Q: What has been your motivation during senior year?

A: “My grandma, sister, and football.”

 

Q: Do you have any resolutions for new year?

A: “No, I don’t. I feel like everyone makes one every year and never keep their promise. So, no.”

 

Q: How do you feel about graduation?

A: “Hmm… good?”

 

Q: What has been your most memorable moment at Weston Ranch?

A: “Wrestling in the locker rooms before practices.”
