This year, more than a dozen families in Weston Ranch will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Day meal this Thursday by getting a little help from their friends.

Over the past two weeks, Weston Ranch FFA Club has been collecting canned goods, frozen foods and pet foods from students and student clubs.

At the food drive’s end, FFA collected 15 of full dinners consisting of potatoes, pies, dessert, rolls, gravy mix, yams and other items. Also, 15 frozen turkeys were dropped off to Room 904 for holiday distribution.

Last year, 15 meals were donated.

Meals were donated as packages earlier this week, to allow families to have one more thing to be thankful for this year.
