It’s officially the season of giving at Weston Ranch High School.

Your generosity could make the difference in a family’s ability to start the Winter Holidays with a traditional home-cooked meal.

Organized by Weston Ranch FFA, “Friends-Giving” is an event designed to help families in our community.

By donating items such as pies, mixing ingredients, gravy mix, yams, and, of course, turkeys, Cougars can put the sights and smells of Thanksgiving on the dining room tables of area families.

Both canned and frozen foods will be accepted as donations. This food drive also accepts nourishment for those sometimes-forgotten members of the family – pets. Dog and cat foods are welcomed as donations.

These items can be collected through participating clubs or donated directly to Room 904.

These donations will serve as the basis for a Thanksgiving Family Dinner for the families who don’t have the essentials for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Last year, FFA served 15 families in need.

As a result of partnering with other clubs, the goal of this year’s campaign is to meet the needs of 25 families.

You can click the link below for a list of the items that the club would like to receive. The deadline for receiving donations is Monday, November 20.
