This week’s teacher spotlight is on Aubrey Lewis. Ms. Lewis is a campus favorite amongst students here at Weston Ranch, and it is our pleasure to highlight her story this week. Ms. Lewis is a good teacher and is always friendly to her students.
“I wanted to be a teacher here because I liked how friendly and happy the staff was, and I loved the school spirit.”
She began teaching here at Weston Ranch nine years ago. Her current teaching assignment finds her in the classroom teaching Success 101. She has taught English 1 as well. Before teaching Success 101 and English, Lewis was the Leadership teacher. And before that, Lewis spent time teaching Special Ed and as a teacher assistant. However, she has found her calling with the Success 101 classes.
“I wanted to work with first-year students because I wanted to meet all the freshmen and give them a nice welcome to the high school.”
Lewis graduated from East Union High School and got her degree from Sacramento State. When she is not working, she is with her kids having fun with them.
