Catching COVID Causes Chaos

Getting Covid is not pleasant. It is terrible to deal with it. But, symptoms aside, it’s a blessing for introverted people because you don’t have to leave and see people during quarantine. But, I can see why it could become stressful for everyone else.

Covid is awful because I lost the sense of taste and smell, and even now, a few days after testing negative, neither has fully recovered. But, on the other hand, I can drink ginger tea, and it tastes like pure water(usually, I can’t stand it).

The smell is another affected sense. When the scent is off, it takes more work to smell something. Having a fever is lousy because the heat makes it harder to sleep at night. I didn’t experience any horrible coughing, but the overall fatigue from being sick was dreadful. It is way easier to get tired now, and it’s a bit harder to breathe.

Some BIG headaches won’t leave you alone, and there isn’t much you can do before they strike you with pain, and you have to wait until they calm down. Also, your eyes physically hurt, and not like common eye strain. Instead, they burn like they hurt when you move them to look around.

The moral of the story is don’t get sick because it is absolutely unpleasant.
