Fans of Pokemon rejoice. Pokemon is here. Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released on January 27th at 9:00 pm, and the Digital release happened today. 

If you don’t already know, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a new Pokemon game where you travel back in time, where the Sinnoh region used to be the Hisui region, and people were afraid of Pokemon. You use old wooden pokeballs and build the very first Pokedex. Then, you set out on expeditions doing research, and get rewarded. This time, your three starters are Rowlet – Grass and flying type, Cyndaquil – Fire-type, Oshawott – Water-type. 

The new part of the game is that something seems to be affecting Pokemon, making them aggressive. So, you can run around in an incredibly open world chucking pokeballs at Pokemon or battling them, you choose. Travel by Land, Water, and Air. A fun fact to know before your adventure is that Pokemon can shrink. Pokeballs take advantage of that to capture them. 

From reviews so far, it’s the highest-rated Pokemon game on Switch. So, it’s pretty safe to say this game will be awesome.
