The Prowl wishes to continue to celebrate the Class of 2021’s Valedictorian, Sumreet Sandhu. We wanted to share some stories about her from her counselor and teachers. Enjoy!

From Ms. Carmona-It has been a pleasure having you as a student these past four years. As a counselor, one of my favorite things is to watch my students flourish throughout the years and then go off to pursue their post-high school plans. You have accomplished so much and will continue to succeed as you go off to Dartmouth. I want to thank you for always making me laugh. Every single time you came into my office, we would laugh about something. Even through this difficult school year, the laughs continued. I will miss you, but I look forward to your updates! -Mrs. Carmonaaaa

From Ms. Mendoza-Sumreet has been an active member of Key Club since her freshman year and is currently our club president. Over the years, I have seen her grow into a great leader who works well with others and knows how to delegate tasks to her officer team.

From Ms. Beaty-Sumreet, I know I won’t say this as eloquently as you would say it, but here goes nothing…You have grown so much since your freshman year. In Medical Biology, I remember you being a little quieter and reserved. Now, you are this amazing, strong young woman. You have built so much confidence, and I know you won’t settle for anything less than greatness. I am very proud of you!

From Ms. Riley-I love to see that the Class of 2021 is being led by an intelligent, strong, amazing, and charismatic young woman. Sumreet, I thoroughly enjoyed having you as a student. Best wishes at college. I am happy you are our future.

From Ms. Berchtold-Sumreet was an ELD peer tutor in the fall. During that time, she demonstrated her academic abilities and helped her tutees improve their academic and social skills. Sumeeet is more than just smart; she has a fabulous sense of humor, style, and character. I wish her the best, which I know she will achieve.

From Ms. Stogner-I really loved having Sumreet in AP Language and Composition. She brought genuine inquisitiveness to our class discussions. Even in her junior year, I knew that she would be very successful the rest of her high school career and that she was bound to do great things after high school. I am lucky to have been a small part of her educational journey.
