The following is an update on last week’s story, “Physiology Students Aren’t Scaredy-Cats.”
Ms. Beaty’s Physiology classes continue to get paws deep into cat dissections. Now that the cats have had their skins removed, the students moved on to inspecting the different systems of the cat: Namely, the integumentary, muscular, and digestive system.
As her first period was dissecting, Mr. Allred joined in on the fun and was shocked by the experience. It is only week 2 out of 10 for the cat dissections, and the classes are continuing to warm up to the experience.
