On May 7, we will finally get the answers we’ve been anxiously waiting for.

The seventh and final season of “Pretty Little Liars,” based on the books by Sara Shepard, returns.

In the seventh season of “PLL” we saw our four protagonists continue the roles as they try to take down the new ‘A’. I’m not sure if it will be possible because ‘A’ is always a few steps ahead of the Liars.

“A” is a fictional character created in the first season by Shepard. It is a character that primarily appears as a stalker and the main antagonist of the stories. The killer is often times found in the city Rosewood, the setting of the show.

“PLL” is set in the small suburban town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania. The series follows the lives of four girls: Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin and Emily Fields, whose clique falls apart after the alleged murder of their leader, Alison DiLaurentis.

You can catch “Pretty Little Liars” on Freeform (formerly ABC Family) 8 p.m. Tuesdays.

Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer Hastings, has relationship problems with Caleb, while Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna Marin, who was kidnapped at the end of last season. Lucy Hale continued her role as Aria Montgomery as she is set in a love triangle with Ezra and her boyfriend Liam. Shay Mitchell portrays Emily Fields who begins to rekindle her relationship with Alison. Sasha Pieterse continues to portray Alison DiLaurentis as Alison struggles with being in a psych ward.

After the Liars plan to expose their newest tormentor goes wrong and puts Hanna’s life in danger, the Liars realize that the secrets and lies are far deeper than they thought and must find a way to bring down “Uber A” once and for all before it’s too late.

I enjoy the show Pretty Little Liars because it is very mysterious and dark at times. Besides the fact that I’ve been watching this show for the past seven years, every episode always leaves you on your toes and has you anxiously waiting for the next episode.
