Some say that prom is the epitome of the high school experience.
From choreographed ‘promposals’ to searching for the perfect dress that you’ll only wear once, to finally arriving to the night of music and spontaneous dancing: FUN.
A few years from now, it’s one of those moments you look back upon to either reminisce or regret.
This year’s prom will be held April 22 at Brookside Country Club, 3603 St. Andrews Drive, Stockton.
Unlike this year’s Winterfest, which has been cancelled due to inadequate ticket sales, prom is undoubtedly certain to happen.
“Let’s just say we sold over 300 last year and that we are in a better spot this year” said Associated Student Body Vice President Joe Contreras.
“I believe we sold the most pre-sale tickets with around 120,” Contreras said. “Spots are limited because Brookside is a smaller venue.”
So, if you want to live the stereotypical teenage epoch of the aforementioned experience, be sure to buy your tickets before they run out.
